Favourite geocaches: Hereford and Worcester

Awarding our Geocaching favourite points: Where? Which? Why?

Sometimes we award favourite points for the memories attached to finding a cache, other times it’s for the creativity of the containers, and then there’s also the points for location…for taking us to a different place that we wouldn’t have otherwise known about. 🙂

A special mention has to be given to the fiendish puzzle caches which we award favourite points to for the time and effort that goes into putting them together – especially if there’s a great container at the end!!

Please let me know if there are any great caches that we should check out in your area as this list is by no means extensive – and we’re always up for a road trip!

CADWAD #3 Purrrrrr… – GC4GK0N by zargos2012 *Found on: 28/02/14*

Difficulty 1.5 – Terrain 1.5

Cache Type: Traditional

We love finding a cache that has an interesting container, and even more so when we find one that requires a little extra ingenuity to figure out how to open it. This purrrrrfect cache ticked both of those boxes. It turned out that we had stumbled upon a ‘CADWAD’ which stands for, cache and dash with a difference…

Our aim had simply been to pick up a cache whilst we were passing through a new area, what we weren’t expecting to find was a beautifully crafted container which tricked us into thinking we’d found the log book before realising it was a decoy and, that there was actually more to the container than met the eye! Very tricky and definitely worth the favourite point :)

I’ve added a picture which might tempt you into going and finding this cache for yourselves!
